Dark Water – Chocolate Milk Stout

A dark and moody Chocolate Milk Stout, brewed to be served chilled and well carbonated in the American style.

Taking advantage of our South Eastern water that made Stouts and Porters famous back in the day. Its body and sweetness come from the addition of unfermentable Milk Sugar added into the Kettle during the boil. Strong coffee and chocolate notes come from the extra dark UK caramel malts, combined with some UK Chocolate & German specialty malts. This compliments a base of UK and Belgian pale malts that add some caramel complexity.

Fresh organic cacao nibs that are first soaked in Vodka and then added into the final stages of fermentation add an extra hit of intensity.

A Fresh North Eastern style American Pale Ale made with UK malts and US Centennial & Cascade Hops. A light coloured easy drinking beer, that’s crisp with a smooth citrus finish.

Inspired by Bradwell Bay Airfield and the brave British and Allied service men & women that few from there.

We have tried to create a beer that represents them – A Light Pale Ale made with local malts that would be familiar to the pilots of the day, but with the flavour and influence of imported American hops.

This beer has backbone, just like the service men and women that fought for our freedom.

A specialty Red IPA popular in the Pacific North West.

This beer pours a clear deep red colour with a clean bready malt backbone coming from the use of UK Marris Otter and Light Munich as base malts.

UK Crystal and a little CaraFa Special malt give it a distinctive deep red colour with a touch of caramel.

Hop character comes from the use of two classic US IPA hops in the form of Simcoe and Centennial, giving a citrus / herbal flavour and aroma thats bold but not overly bitter.

The result is a classic US hop forward IPA fused with an Irish Red.
